Vocabulary

This is a compacted list of words that I believed were important to the video and their definitions:

  • Mental Health - a person’s condition with regard to their psychological and emotional well-being.
  • Depression - a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest
  • Anxiety - a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome.
  • Stress - pressure or tension exerted on a material object.
  • Psychology - the scientific study of the human mind and its functions, especially those affecting behavior in a given context.
  • Behavior - The way in which one acts or conducts oneself, especially toward others.
  • Habits - A settled or regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up.
  • Positivity - The practice of being or tendency to be positive or optimistic in attitude.
  • Emotion - A natural instinctive state of mind deriving from one’s circumstances, mood, or relationships with others.
  • Priorities - The fact or condition of being regarded or treated as more important.

Note of Gratitude I made 2 notes of gratitudes, one to my friend and one to my parents. For the note to my friend, I thanked him for always being my friend and always supporting me through rough times. He was very grateful for the note and that was that. For the note to my parents, I thanked them for helping me become who I am today. They were also very grateful for my note and were happy of the person I am today.

Goals

I made some goals, not just things that I want, but also goals based on mental health and happiness:

  • Get 5s on all AP Exams
  • Help others maintain happiness
  • Keep my mental health in good shape
  • Avoid stress
  • Stay happy
